#DangerousConfessions #MovieEdition

Now, people are going to have trouble understanding that 99.53%* of these are OPINION…which I, like everyone else in the world, is entitled to have. There’s a lot of things out there I like and a lot of things I don’t like…and that’s OKAY. In fandom, we’re so quick to tell people how wrong they are, and I’m a perpetrator in that, as well.

So please keep that in mind before you take to the comments section and blast me apart with what I allegedly do and don’t know, and how wrong I may be. I DO encourage you to leave some #DangerousConfessions yourself in the comments.

Enjoy this purge of my soul!

(*Not accurate percentage.)

I can watch Spaceballs, Blazing Saddles, and Young Frankenstein over and over until my eyes fall out.

I’ve never seen Braveheart, and I really don’t care to see it.

I’ve never made it through either of the Kill Bill movies.

I never liked The Graduate, Casablanca, and any of The Godfather movies (NOTE: I’m married to a filmmaker/film editor, so you can imagine how this goes over in my house).

I don’t really get Adventure Time (despite being friends with the woman who voices Flame Princess, HEY JESS!)

I prefer the original version of Empire Records over the “Fan Edition.”

I like A New Hope better than The Empire Strikes Back.

I like A New Hope better than ANY Star Wars film ever made (including The Force Awakens now that I’ve seen it).

I’ve only seen the first five Harry Potter movies, and I fell asleep during Order of the Phoenix.

I fell asleep during Desolation of Smaug.

The Two Towers is the best LOTR movie, hands down. NOTHING beats Helm’s Deep.

I wasn’t blown away by Fury Road like everyone else was.

I would’ve preferred Captain America 3 being Fallen Son and Avengers 3 and 4 being Civil War. I think it would’ve made more sense, considering Bucky has no loyalty at all to Tony Stark.

I like Home a lot, and I think Tip was beautifully designed and rendered.

I saw Batteries Not Included three times in the theater.

I cried every time I saw Titanic in the theater (which was four times).

Represent! I hated how people turned on Titanic once it became uncool to like it.
Like, I know you saw it seven times in the theater. Don’t pretend that you only decided after viewing #7 that it was terrible. Just enjoy it.
    Jerks.
